@ anonymous you will EASILY get CSE at jaypee noida JIIT.
@nabil : It would be really difficult with that rank nabil..Last year the maximum rank upto which they took students was round 28k..

From the way the cut offs are rising so quickly, what I think the cut offs for 2008 will be:
Comp 9-11
E&C 11-15
IT 15-17
I doubt you will get admission in Jaypee Noida after 17-18k
I reviewed the cutoffs again at the official website. This is how you can expect the cut offs:
Comp 11-12
E&C 13-17
IT 14-18

and Jaypee Guna and their placements as u doubt in my admission to Jaypee Noida.

Thnx for ur continuous help.The reason of my asking of getting JP,Noida was that I at 32k am invited for JIIT,JUIT,JIET counselling and candidates till 47k have been invited to attend the same.So I thought if there could be any chance.
Last Year IT closed at 20,600 something for Jaypee Noida. I hope it doesn't go over 15-16k this year. However a realistic target would be 16-18k.
Jaypee Noida is much much better than Jaypee Solan or Jaypee Guna although Jaypee Solan is not in the Top 100 engg colleges of India, it is somewhere like Top 150 or Top 200 I guess. Guna probably isn't even that good. If you want Jaypee, it should be Noida else try for some NIT or something else. That is what I feel.

could u tell ur AIEEE AIR rank?
Due to the new AIEEE selection procedure, you should be able to get through CS in JIIT and in a very rare case that you don't then you will get IT or ECE. Anyway, expect all this after second counselling, after first counselling you are at best borderline for CS.
@koolgdua : You should get IT/CSE easily in JIIT.
@prateek : You MIGHT get IT but you will get ECE there.

JIIT BT is not good. Only IT and above are.
JIIT BT is very famous and yes there it is good but not much scope in India atm i think.
JIIT is not known for BT. There is a problem with the placements too. Going for SRM etc is much better which is a pioneer in BT infrastructure in India.
