The IP University's B.Tech results were declared yesterday and the expected cutoff is that all seats would be filled within 15,000 . But those who have QUALIFIED but not got a good rank ( ie 15000+ ) , they can get in through management quota.
This year donations worth Rs. 3,00,000 - 7,00,000 would be taken for admissions.

hi nabil , the rank is fine. you would get ECE but the college might not be that good ! the best colleges under IPU are Bhartiya Vidya Peeth (bvp) , Maharaja Agrasen College , USIT , many others...

@archie - well even you would get a good college but in second counselling...See , 2000-2500 students wont take admission in IP cuz they would easily have cleared JEE , DCE or a nice rank in AIEEE..So people within 80000 have a very good chance..all the best !!

@ rajeev : yes management quota is there in IP University...you need to contact them for this and you will get mechanical at MAIT or msit most probably..your rank is FINE but not very good...so you may get some other college also if not in first then definitelt in second counselling..

@rohit : you wont get a very good college but you will get some definitely..please check the cutoffs in this blogpost...these are the 2006-2007 cutoff.

@rjx : IP University is the best option for delhiites after the likes of DCE and IITs..You can get BVP , NIET , MAIT...Don take mechanical at Manipal..

@pranav : Average packages you get there is 3.5 Lakh per annum..Plus the promotions would boom well if you are ibn bvp or mait.
@gorby : IT and CSE would be very difficult with that rank i think..But might get in through M.Q. plus CSE and IT aint the only options you have...suppose i have it and you have mechanical and in the third year when placements start , we will all sit together...An IT/CS company can take YOU IN !

Sir I have a rank of 7793 under sikh quota.I would definitely get gtbit cse.But will it be better to go in the general councelling or sikh councelling.Also I want to know if ip university is good enough for getting good off campus placement.

my ip rank is 2225 n according to ur 2007 list i wont get cse in bvp. will i get it in 2nd counselling? wat must be my best option in 1st counselling?
Hi, my rank is 3950 and i have got EC in GTBIT in 1st counseling. do i hv chances of getting MAIT or BVP in 2nd counseling? is surajmal beter than GTBIT? also i'm getting in manav rachna faridabad but its affiliated to maharsihi dyanand uni. is it better than IP? please advice me... i'm too confused
